Trump Claims Tesla CEO Elon Musk Is Too Swamped for White House Cabinet Role – Unveiling the Truth!
Former President Donald Trump recently indicated that while he appreciates Elon Musk’s support and brilliance, the Tesla and SpaceX CEO might not fit into his hypothetical White House cabinet due to his packed schedule managing multiple companies. “He wants to be involved. Now look, he’s running big businesses and all that, so he can’t, really, I don’t think he could be cabinet,” Trump remarked during an interview with former Navy Seal Shawn Ryan, an excerpt of which was released on Sunday.
Trump acknowledged Musk’s value, mentioning that Musk could still be a significant consultant, especially in areas like artificial intelligence. This statement also provides Trump with a potential reason to distance himself from Musk if he wins the November election against Democratic nominee Kamala Harris.
The relationship between Trump and Musk has evolved; once rivals exchanging insults, they have now allied as Musk delves deeper into right-wing politics. Musk endorsed Trump last month following an assassination attempt on the former president and helped form a pro-Trump super political action committee in May. Concurrently, Trump has reactivated his presence on Musk’s social media platform, X, after exclusively using Truth Social for some time.
Despite their alliance, comments from both suggest that Musk’s role would likely be advisory rather than formal. Trump praised Musk’s ingenuity, noting, “Elon and I have a great relationship. He’s great. He’s a totally unusual character… But he is a brilliant guy.”
In an earlier discussion streamed on X, Musk proposed the idea of establishing a government efficiency commission, to which he offered his assistance, hinting at a collaborative effort with Trump while maintaining a measure of professional distance.
