Photojournalist’s Unveiling Stellar Achievements
In an illustrious career marked by dedication and excellence, the photojournalist has garnered several prestigious accolades. The distinguished journey began with a victory in the General News category at the MFI National Press Photo Contest in 2012, held in Mumbai. The following year, the talent was recognized with the Sony Photography Award in Guwahati.
2013 continued to be a landmark year with a special mention at the Wildlife Photo Contest organized by Sanctuary Asia in Mumbai. This momentum carried forward into 2014, when the photojournalist clinched the Assam Tourism Photography Award presented by the Government of Assam.
In the same year, the photojournalist’s work earned international recognition with a win at the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)-PII Photography Awards in Delhi. Further cementing their reputation in wildlife photography, they were named the Sanctuary Asia Wildlife Photographer of the Year in 2016, Mumbai.
Most recently, the photojournalist was honored with the Young Photojournalist of the Year Award in 2020 by the Youth Journalist Association, Assam, underscoring their continuing influence and contribution to the field.
