Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha, on August 13, praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for the state’s progress and emphasized Tripura’s commitment to holistic development. At the official launch of the Tiranga Yatra at Umakanta Ground in Agartala, Saha noted that the government is advancing key areas such as health, education, agriculture, and sports, following Modi’s example.
Highlighting the Har Ghar Tiranga program, Saha explained that it’s meant to instill patriotic fervor in citizens. “Our nation comes first, above all else,” he said, noting the enthusiastic participation in programs and activities across various sectors, including social organizations and the private sector. A tricolor walk featured diverse participants like government officials, students, and educators.
Saha mentioned significant efforts to ensure every household in Tripura displays the national flag. “According to 2022 data, there are 8.5 lakh households in Tripura. The government launched the production of national flags in various sizes to meet the demand, and the people of Tripura responded overwhelmingly,” he stated.
Praising Modi’s unique ability to ignite patriotic zeal, Saha expressed his administration’s dedication to both national and state advancement. Following the inauguration, Saha and other dignitaries participated in a vibrant procession through Agartala, proudly carrying the tricolor.
