Agartala, 30th July 2024: A shocking incident near Sarva Dharma Mission area, AD Nagar, has emerged, where a nine-year-old girl has accused her father of repeated sexual abuse. The horrifying ordeal, revealed by the girl herself, has led her to stand at the police station, demanding the death penalty for her father.
The accused, reportedly raping and molesting his third-grade daughter over a prolonged period, was exposed when the girl’s brother discovered the abuse and informed their mother. The mother immediately filed a case against her husband at the West Agartala Women’s Police Station, demanding his execution.
According to the complaint, the father exploited the absence of other family members to brutalize his daughter repeatedly, threatening to kill her if she disclosed the abuse. The abuse was witnessed by her brother on July 24, leading the mother to confront her daughter, who confirmed the horrific truth. Upon realizing the matter, the father fled the home.
Taking swift action, the mother, supported by local residents, filed a detailed complaint on Tuesday. In a poignant appeal to the media, she demanded the death penalty for her husband, underscoring the gravity of his crimes. The entire community, including the family, remains in shock over these revelations.
In a brave display, the young girl, standing before media cameras, demanded justice, revealing that her father had been tormenting her for a long time. She finally mustered the courage to speak out with her brother and mother’s support. This incident highlights critical concerns regarding the safety of women and children within their homes.
