Kudecho Khamo Launches New English Communication Workbooks in Kohima
Kohima, July 26: Nagaland CAWD & Taxes Advisor, Kudecho Khamo, officially unveiled the third series of PCE Workbooks titled “English Communication 1- AECC” at 2K Hotel, Kohima. This new series, authored by Dr. Rukulu Kezo and Dr. Ruth Z. Hauzel, aligns with the NEP FYUGP and Nagaland University’s BA first semester syllabus. Khamo lauded Cue Academy and the authors, emphasizing that the resource would be instrumental for both teachers and students in enhancing the learning experience.
Khamo remarked that these workbooks represent a shift from traditional pedagogical methods, reflecting Cue Academy’s commitment to addressing each student’s unique needs and fostering a dynamic, inclusive learning environment. He stressed the importance of practical and experiential learning, noting that theoretical knowledge alone does not constitute holistic education. Emphasizing the necessity for education to prepare students for real-world challenges, Khamo pointed to the National Education Policy 2020, which advocates for holistic education incorporating critical thinking, problem-solving, and life skills.
Highlighting the evolving educational landscape in Nagaland, Khamo noted that achieving educational excellence requires more than policy changes; it involves transforming the teaching-learning environment. He commended Cue Academy for producing person-centered workbooks designed to make undergraduate classrooms in Nagaland more engaging and activity-based.
Dr. Lanusangla Tzudir, Editor at Heritage Publishing House, delivered additional remarks, and Dr. Adenuo Shirat Luikham, Assistant Professor at Don Bosco College, Kohima, introduced the authors. The event was led by Dr. Vizovono Elizabeth, Independent Researcher, and freelance editor, with Zhokhoto Puro, Managing Director of Cue Academy, extending the vote of thanks.
The launch event signifies a step forward in enhancing educational practices in Nagaland, aiming to equip students with the skills needed to thrive in an ever-evolving job market.
