PM Modi Inspires: Empowering 2022 IAS Trainee Officers to Shape India’s Future as Assistant Secretaries

Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged with 181 Officer Trainees of the 2022 IAS Batch, who are currently serving as Assistant Secretaries across various Ministries and Departments, at Sushma Swaraj Bhawan in New Delhi. During the session, officers recounted their training experiences. The Prime Minister reminisced about his previous interaction with them during the Aarambh programme in 2022. Emphasizing the Assistant Secretary initiative, he highlighted its purpose of offering young officers experiential learning opportunities throughout the administrative hierarchy.

Prime Minister Modi stressed that New India demands a proactive approach, rejecting any form of lackadaisical attitudes. He urged the officers to strive for excellence in governance, manufacturing, and quality of life for all citizens. Highlighting schemes such as Lakhpati Didi, Drone Didi, and the PM Awas Yojana, Modi encouraged a saturation approach for these initiatives to ensure their benefits reach every citizen.
