The AIADMK has called on the district administration to reinstate the Primary Health Centre (PHC) in Mangudi village. The appeal was made during a demonstration organized by the district AIADMK in Mangudi on Tuesday. Demonstrators highlighted that the PHC was established on 3,000 square feet of land donated by philanthropist Bhavani in 2001. The center operated successfully until 2010 on premises specifically constructed for it. However, it is now alleged that individuals with ties to the village administration are attempting to transfer the land’s ownership to someone named Velmurugan. The protesters urged district authorities to intervene and prevent the misappropriation of the property, emphasizing that the land was originally donated for public use.
