Nalbari, Assam: In a devastating incident on Tuesday morning, a young school girl lost her life after her scooter fell into a drain in Tihu, located in Assam’s Nalbari district. The victim, identified as Bhaswati Kalita, was a class 9 student at Sankardev Sishu Niketan school in Hatipara.
The tragic accident occurred while Bhaswati was returning home from her regular tuition. According to sources, she lost control of her scooter, which subsequently plunged into the drain. Local residents immediately rushed to the scene and transported her to a nearby hospital in Nalbari. Despite their swift actions, Bhaswati succumbed to her injuries during treatment.
