Mumbai, September 23 (IANS) – Renowned dancing diva and actress Nora Fatehi has teamed up with Nigerian singing sensation CKay for an upcoming track. In an Instagram post on Monday, Nora teased the collaboration with a note stating, “Up Next…Ckay X Nora Fatehi…Stay tuned”. The forthcoming song promises a blend of Nora’s distinctive dance style with CKay’s innovative sound, creating a unique fusion. The track is set for release next week.
CKay skyrocketed to global fame with his international hit single “Love Nwantiti,” also known as “Love Nwantiti (Ah Ah Ahh),” which became an instant chartbuster. Earlier this month, Nora commemorated the two-year anniversary of her iconic song “Manike” from the film “Thank God.” She posted behind-the-scenes videos on Instagram, featuring moments from the song’s sequence. The first video showcased her lip-syncing, while the second featured a shoot sequence with actor Sidharth Malhotra. One segment zoomed in on Nora’s waist as she performed her memorable belly dance moves. She captioned the post, “2 years of Manike. Iconic,” along with a white heart emoji.
“Manike” was sung by Jubin Nautiyal, Surya Ragunaathan, and Sri Lankan songwriter-composer Yohani. The track is part of the 2022 comedy-drama “Thank God,” featuring Ajay Devgn, Sidharth Malhotra, Rakul Preet Singh, Seema Pahwa, and Kanwaljit Singh in key roles.
Nora Fatehi made her acting debut in the Hindi film “Roar: Tigers of the Sundarbans” and later appeared in various Telugu films like “Temper,” “Baahubali: The Beginning,” and “Kick 2.” She also gained popularity as a contestant on the reality show “Bigg Boss,” hosted by Salman Khan. Nora has captivated audiences with her dance performances in hit songs like “Dilbar,” “Garmi,” “Saki Saki,” and “Manike.”
