Mizoram Governor Hospitalized with Lung Infection: Remarkable Recovery Brings Hope
Mizoram Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati’s health is currently stable after being admitted to Star Hospitals in Hyderabad for prolonged fever, according to a hospital bulletin. Initial investigations revealed a lung infection.
The governor was admitted on September 9 for a comprehensive health evaluation. “Upon admission, Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati underwent a thorough evaluation by our medical team, with initial investigations indicating a lung infection. He was immediately transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for close monitoring and treatment,” the hospital stated.
Governor Kambhampati is under the care of a multidisciplinary team led by Dr. Vikram Varma Jampana, Senior Consultant Physician, and Dr. Chandana Reddy, Senior Consultant in Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine. The team is administering broad-spectrum antibiotics and other necessary medications.
The hospital assured, “Currently, he is receiving broad-spectrum antibiotics and other necessary medications under the expert care of a multidisciplinary team led by Dr. Vikram Varma Jampana, Senior Consultant Physician, and Dr. Chandana Reddy, Senior Consultant Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine.”
Kambhampati’s condition is reportedly stable, and the hospital will release further updates as necessary.
