Meghalaya Deputy CM Prestone Tynsong Hospitalised Amidst Heartbreaking Subdural Haemorrhage Battle
Meghalaya Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong was admitted to Nazareth Hospital in Shillong following a decline in his health. Medical examinations revealed he was suffering from a small subdural hemorrhage.
Tynsong was rushed to the hospital in the evening, where the Neurosurgery department has since been overseeing his treatment. Efforts are underway to determine the cause of the hemorrhage. According to a health bulletin from the Meghalaya Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), the hospital’s specialists are closely monitoring the Deputy CM’s condition.
The bulletin reported, “The Deputy CM is conscious and alert, and his condition is stable, but he is under close medical observation.”
Prior to this incident, Tynsong had been admitted to the hospital due to fluctuating blood pressure, according to media reports.
The medical team at Nazareth Hospital is working diligently to ensure Tynsong’s health stabilizes, and updates on his condition are expected as investigations continue.
