Transforming Lives: Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment’s Empowering 2-Day National Review Conference in UP

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, is set to host a two-day National Review Conference, “Chintan Shivir,” starting today in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. This pivotal event aims to gather Ministers of Social Justice and Social Welfare Departments from all States and Union Territories (UTs), along with senior officials and key stakeholders. The primary focus will be on discussing and evaluating the implementation of various schemes and policies targeted at uplifting marginalized communities across the nation.

Chaired by Dr. Virendra Kumar, Union Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, the conference will also see the participation of B. L. Verma and Ramdas Athawale, Union Ministers of State for Social Justice and Empowerment, alongside other senior officials. The main objective is to assess the progress of significant social justice schemes and their execution at the State level.
