Nagaland Lottery Sambad: Legal Insights and Procedures

The daily lotteries are named Dear Morning, Dear Day, and Dear Evening, each with tickets priced at Rs 6.

The Director of Nagaland State Lotteries manages and plans these daily draws, conducted at P. R. Hill Junction, Kohima, 797001. If you’re a lucky winner, you must:

• Submit a copy of the lottery claim form along with your original, undamaged ticket.
• Attach a government-approved photo ID and passport-sized photos to the claim form.
• Ensure tickets are pristine, as tampered or damaged tickets are inadmissible.

For prizes up to ₹10,000, authorized distributors, stockists, agents, or sellers can disburse winnings on behalf of the State Government. Claims exceeding Rs. 10,000 must be directed to the Director, Government of Nagaland, or the Nodal Office in the respective state within 30 days of the draw date. Payment, upon verification, is made within 60 days, provided the original prize-winning ticket and necessary documents are correctly submitted.
