Ultimate Pokémon Go July 2026 Events & Raid Schedule
July 2026 marks Pokémon Go’s tenth anniversary and Niantic has stacked the month with events, raids and in-game rewards — headlined by Go Fest 2026: Global on July 11–12, a free, worldwide event that also grants a Special Research quest ending in a Zeraora encounter. Players should log in during July to claim anniversary content and limited-time bonuses.
The month begins with Choose Your Path: Charged Embers (June 30–July 3) and a packed weekend on July 4 that includes Sobble Community Day (July 4) and a 10th Anniversary Party running July 4–6. Road of Legends runs July 6–10, followed by the two-day global Go Fest on July 11–12. A Special Anniversary Pikachu Celebration runs July 13–20, and Raichu Super Mega Raid Day is scheduled for Saturday, July 18. Willow’s Birthday Research arrives on July 21, an unspecified event is listed for July 21–27, Ozone Ascent takes place July 25–26, and Choose Your Path: Fairy Trail runs July 28–August 3. The Flying Taxi event — which added Squawkabilly and its color variants — and the Forever Forward season are also noted as current context for players heading into July.
Legendary five-star raid rotations for July include Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres (July 1–5 and again July 13–14), Kyogre (July 15–21), Solgaleo (July 22–28) and Kyurem (July 29–August 4). The guide recommends focusing on Kyurem for its strong Ice typing and for potential fusion forms if you’ve accumulated Fusion Energy. All listed legendaries are available in shiny form during their windows.
Mega Raid lineups mirror the legendary schedule: Mega Lucario appears July 1–5 and July 13–14, Mega Sceptile runs July 15–21, Mega Salamence July 22–28 and Mega Aggron July 29–August 4. Note that Mega raids award Mega Energy and an encounter with the Pokémon’s regular form rather than catching the Mega form itself. Go Fest is also slated to introduce global releases of Mega Mewtwo X and Y and Mega Raichu X and Y during July.
Max Battles feature dynamaxable Chansey (July 6–12), Deino (July 13–19), Trubbish (July 20–26) and Hoothoot (July 27–August 2); the piece recommends grabbing Dynamax Deino for Hydreigon prospects. Shadow Palkia will appear in five-star Shadow Raids during July and can be shiny; Remote Raid Passes can be used for these encounters.
With multiple overlapping raid rotations, mega releases and anniversary rewards, July 2026 is a heavy month for both casual logins and dedicated play — particularly around Go Fest (July 11–12) and the mid-to-late July raid windows that include Kyogre, Solgaleo and Kyurem.
