Nikali K Shohe to Proudly Represent Nagaland at Femina Miss India 2026
Twenty-two-year-old Nikali K. Shohe will represent Nagaland at Femina Miss India 2026, scheduled for April 18, 2026, in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The Philimi Village native, now based in Akuhaito Town, heads to the national pageant carrying her state’s hopes and a string of regional titles.
Shohe has built a strong pageant record: she was first runner-up at Miss Northeast 2026, won Miss Nagaland 2024, and holds the Miss Sumi 2024 crown. Those achievements helped raise her profile and prepared her for the national stage.
Beyond modelling and pageantry, Shohe aims to serve the public as a Drug Control Officer, a choice she says reflects her commitment to societal welfare and community service.
Describing her Femina Miss India journey as “transformative,” Shohe said, “I am learning new things every day and constantly pushing beyond my comfort zone.” She added that representing Nagaland motivates her “to strive harder and perform to the best of my abilities.”
Addressing the people of Nagaland, Shohe urged young people to remain true to their identity and to meet challenges with confidence, kindness and authenticity despite stereotypes. Her message emphasizes cultural pride alongside personal ambition.
As she steps onto the national stage, Shohe carries not just a title but the aspirations of Nagaland’s youth, aiming to inspire others to pursue their dreams while staying rooted in their heritage.
