SHILLONG, April 15 — BK Bajoria School and BDW International School reported strong outcomes in the CBSE Class X board examinations, with BK Bajoria posting high individual scores and BDW’s founding batch achieving a clean sweep of passes. BK Bajoria saw 23 of its 80 students score above 90 per cent, 37 score above 80 per cent and 18 score above 70 per cent.

BK Bajoria’s overall school topper was Somanshu Mudoi with 98.2 per cent, followed by Calvin Koijam at 97.4 per cent and Abhipsha Bhardwaj at 97.2 per cent. In total, 79 students from the school secured first-division marks.

The school also reported strong subject-wise distinctions: 75 distinctions in English, 58 in Social Science, 50 in Hindi, 38 in Science and 27 in Mathematics. In skill-based subjects, 28 of 29 students earned distinctions in Artificial Intelligence and 49 of 51 achieved distinctions in Health Care. Students recorded full marks in Science (one student), Social Science (two students) and Health Care (one student). Principal Vandana Gupta congratulated the students, teachers and parents, attributing the results to consistent hard work and discipline.

Meanwhile, BDW International School’s inaugural Class X cohort secured a 100 per cent pass rate. Krishiv Choudhury topped the batch with 94.4 per cent, followed by Kashvin Ishan Kashyap with 92.6 per cent; all students except one were placed in the first division. The school management said the results reflect its commitment to academic excellence and its vision of nurturing disciplined, future-ready learners.

Together, the outcomes underscore strong academic performance in Shillong’s CBSE Class X examinations and highlight growing emphasis on both core subjects and skill-based courses among local schools.
