Guwahati: The Manipur government has directed the state police to conduct search and combing operations in Imphal West’s border areas following a suspected militant attack that resulted in two deaths and nine injuries on Sunday, September 1, 2024.
In response to the attack, Home Commissioner N Ashok Kumar has instructed the Director General of Police (DGP) to apprehend the attackers and enhance surveillance to prevent further incidents.
