Dimapur DC Office Closed for Relocation – Urgent Notice
Dimapur, April 4, 2026 (MExN): The Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, will be closed for all official business from April 6 to April 9, 2026, to allow for a planned relocation, an official notification said on Saturday. The temporary shutdown is intended to facilitate a smooth shifting of office operations to a new site and will affect routine public services during the four-day period.
The order was issued following the approval of the Commissioner, Nagaland, Kohima, the notification stated, citing Deputy Commissioner Dr Tinojongshi Chang, NCS. The office will move to the Survey Training Institute (STI) at Purana Bazar, Dimapur — PIN 797116, and staff will undertake the transfer and setup at the new premises during the closure window.
During April 6–9, 2026, all routine office functioning and public dealings will remain suspended, except for emergency cases, the notification added. Citizens and stakeholders have been urged to take note of the temporary suspension and to extend full cooperation while the Deputy Commissioner’s office completes the relocation.
