Morigaon Yogi Sangha Inaugurates Landmark Permanent Office in Assam
The permanent office building of the Morigaon District Yogi Sangha was inaugurated on March 14 in Morigaon district, Assam. The project, funded with Rs 7 lakh by the Assam Nath Yogi Development Council, was formally opened by the Council President, Benudhar Nath, marking the start of a new chapter for the local Nath Yogi community.
The inauguration was attended by Morigaon District Yogi Sangha Secretary Nitumoni Nath, District President Ramen Nath, National Nath Yogi Council President Mrinal Nath, and Morigaon BJP Legal Cell Convenor Mrinal Deka, alongside members of the Nath Yogi community from across the district.
At the ceremony, Benudhar Nath urged community members to back Nath Yogi candidates in the upcoming Assembly elections, stressing unity and active participation in the political process as key to the community’s interests.
Organisers said the new permanent office will provide a dedicated venue for the Sangha’s organisational work and cultural activities, enabling better coordination of events, community programs and welfare initiatives across Morigaon.
Community leaders described the inauguration as a significant milestone for the Morigaon Yogi Sangha, highlighting the financial support from the Assam Nath Yogi Development Council and the broader engagement of local members as signs of growing institutional strength.
