Following her father’s death, Nancy took on the responsibility of caring for her mother, showcasing her commitment to family throughout her life.
In response to the incident, the LaSalle Police Service extended their condolences via social media, stating, “Our deepest sympathies to the family and friends of Ms. Grewal.” The police also sought to reassure the public, clarifying that the investigation is perceived as an isolated event.
Emergency services were alerted to a stabbing at around 9:30 PM on Tuesday in the 2400 block of Todd Lane. Upon arrival, responders discovered Grewal with serious stab wounds. Despite swift action from the Essex-Windsor Emergency Medical Services, she could not be revived and passed away later that evening.
Authorities took extensive measures at the crime scene, cordoning off two residences on Todd Lane, along with a nearby wooded area. Multiple evidence markers were identified, tracing a path from the crime scene to the front door of one residence, according to local reports from Windsor Star. This incident marks the second homicide in the region for 2026, following an earlier case involving a 44-year-old man.
