Network18 Unveils PM Modi Special Edition Book at Rising Bharat 2026
Network18 presented Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a special edition book, Modi at 75, at the Rising Bharat 2026 event. The 176-page volume, produced to mark the Prime Minister’s 75th birthday, chronicles 75 milestones from his early life in Vadnagar through his time as an RSS pracharak, Chief Minister of Gujarat and his tenure as India’s Prime Minister and global statesman. The book was handed over by Rahul Joshi, Network18 Group Editor‑in‑Chief, who was accompanied by the core project team: Brajesh Kumar Singh, Rashmi Singh, Soumyadip Choudhury, Nadeem Alam, Triparna Mitra, Utpal Kumar, Alankar and Santanu Kumar Santan. The Prime Minister met the team during the presentation.
Designed as both a visual archive and a structured narrative, the volume is organised into five sections-tracing formative years, rise in public life, Gujarat governorship, national leadership and global engagement. It draws on rarely seen archival material including photographs, letters, memorabilia and an entry from the Prime Minister’s diary, several items of which have not been published before. Network18 says the project was intended to present a clear, verified timeline of events and achievements.
The research and production effort was extensive: a team of six researchers worked for more than five months on planning, verification and archival sourcing, followed by over two months of design development, illustration and editorial review with multiple rounds of vetting to ensure accuracy and context. The project brought together senior editors and designers across the network and used artificial intelligence to generate illustrative renderings for moments lacking photographic records; an AI depiction of an ascetic phase reportedly drew a hearty laugh from the Prime Minister.
The book includes reflections and contributions from international and domestic figures. Former Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott wrote the preface; Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu contributed a personal letter; Kamla Persad‑Bissessar, Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, offered her perspective; and several Indian corporate leaders commented on the Prime Minister’s vision for growth and development. These pieces aim to highlight the reach of his global relationships and the cross‑sector impact of his leadership.
Beyond commemoration, Modi at 75 is positioned as a collector’s edition and reference work intended to address gaps and misconceptions that can arise in fragmented news coverage. Network18 has made the special edition available online for readers who wish to explore the full 75‑milestone narrative.
