- Mohammed Shareef Nirmunje, recognized for his contributions to Beary literature.
The selection process was conducted during a recent academy meeting chaired by President Mohammed Karambaru. An official press release noted that the awards will be presented in a ceremony at the Town Hall in Mangaluru on September 6 at 4:30 p.m.
