Samsung Electronics has launched The Freestyle+, a cutting-edge AI-powered portable projector designed to enhance the entertainment experience wherever you are. Announced ahead of CES 2026 in Las Vegas, this latest model builds upon the original Freestyle’s unique design by introducing advanced AI capabilities, increased brightness, and a host of features tailored for diverse viewing environments.

Central to The Freestyle+ is Samsung’s AI OptiScreen technology, which allows users to point, place, and immediately enjoy their content. This smart feature automatically enhances the image based on the projected surface and environment. Key components of AI OptiScreen include 3D Auto Keystone, which corrects distortion caused by uneven surfaces; Real-time Focus, which keeps images stable and clear; Screen Fit, which adjusts the image to match the dimensions of compatible screens; and Wall Calibration, which minimizes distractions from the projection surface for clearer visuals.
Additionally, the Vision AI Companion integrates enhanced Bixby with AI services from global partners, enabling a seamless, conversational interaction with on-screen content. The Freestyle+ makes on-the-go entertainment effortless, boasting a compact cylindrical design that’s lightweight and incredibly portable. With 430 ISO Lumens, the projector delivers nearly double the brightness of its predecessor, making it ideal for everyday use.
Flexibility is a key theme, as The Freestyle+ supports projection from any angle, whether it’s onto a wall, floor, or ceiling, eliminating the need for extra mounts or accessories. Users can easily transition between different rooms without worrying about whether the space is appropriate for viewing.
Designed for a diverse range of entertainment, The Freestyle+ provides built-in access to Samsung TV Plus, certified OTT services, and the Samsung Gaming Hub, allowing users to stream, play, and explore content directly from the projector. Audio is equally robust, featuring a built-in 360-degree speaker tailored for immersive sound. The projector is also compatible with Samsung soundbars via Q-Symphony, offering a rich, layered audio experience.
