Arunachal Pradesh’s Anini, situated in the Dibang Valley, has received the prestigious “Best Emerging Adventure Destination” award at the 17th Annual Convention of the Adventure Tour Operators Association of India (ATOAI) held in Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir. The award was presented by Jammu & Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, highlighting Anini’s rising recognition on India’s adventure tourism scene and its dedication to sustainable tourism practices.
This accolade represents the collaborative efforts of the Department of Tourism of Arunachal Pradesh, local tourism stakeholders, and the residents of Anini.
