Bilateral Talks with PM Modi: Key Agreements on Trade and Defense Ahead
Significant traffic restrictions will be in place in various areas of New Delhi on Friday due to the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to a Delhi Traffic Police official. On Thursday, the traffic police announced extensive diversions across key routes including Mother Teresa Crescent, Teen Murti Marg, Akbar Road, Janpath Road, the Pragati Maidan tunnel, and ITO Chowk.
During his visit, Putin is expected to visit several important sites, including Rajghat, Bharat Mandapam, Hyderabad House, and Rashtrapati Bhavan. This visit marks his participation in the 23rd India-Russia Annual Summit, where he will engage in talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Traffic restrictions will be enforced from 9 AM to 12 noon in areas such as W Point, A Point, ITO Chowk, BSZ Marg, Delhi Gate, JLN Marg, Rajghat Crossing, Shanti Van Crossing, and more. The MGM Pragati Maidan Tunnel leading to Hanuman Setu will be closed during these hours, with commuters advised to seek alternative routes. Parking will be strictly limited to designated areas.
Additionally, no parking will be allowed on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, JLN Marg, and Ring Road from Hanuman Setu Shanti Van to Rajghat, as well as along the same routes associated with the Pragati Maidan Tunnel and Nishad Raj Marg on Friday.
