Experience Opulence: Wynn Al Marjan Island – UAE’s Premier Luxury Integrated Resort Set to Dazzle in 2027 with Exclusive Las Vegas Sneak Peek!
In the vibrant chaos of the Wynn Las Vegas, neon slot machines clash with designer boutiques and Spanish artist Okuda San Miguel’s whimsical Smiling King Bear sculpture. The electrifying pulse of the Vegas Strip envelops visitors in a blend of luck and excitement, far removed from the serene landscapes of the UAE. This lively setting hints at the upcoming Wynn Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, set to launch in spring 2027 as the UAE’s first integrated gaming resort.
Wynn Al Marjan Island aims to redefine luxury in the region, featuring 1,530 rooms, 22 dining venues, a theater, a five-star spa, a beach club along the Arabian Gulf, and a sprawling 12,000 square-meter shopping promenade filled with high-end boutiques. Todd-Avery Lenahan, president and chief creative officer of Wynn Design and Development, likens the design of the new resort to weaving a fresh tapestry, distinct from its predecessors in Las Vegas. “While our properties in Boston and Cotai reflect the original designs, Wynn Al Marjan Island is our first brand-new creation in over two decades.”
This ambitious project is strategically located just 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport and 15 minutes from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport. Unlike its urban counterparts, Wynn Al Marjan Island is envisioned as a true destination resort, incorporating zones of exclusivity and tailored experiences for guests. Lenahan explains that the upper levels of the resort’s striking 300-meter tower will house “Enclave,” featuring 313 luxurious accommodations accessed via a private entry. This exclusive area will offer lobby salons and dedicated elevators, creating a bespoke arrival experience.
As visitors arrive, whether from Dubai or via luxury transport, they will be greeted by a curated environment designed to elevate their experience. With controlled access to a dedicated Wynn Boulevard, guests can move seamlessly between luxury shopping, beach clubs, and nightclubs. Lenahan emphasizes that the intention behind this design is to honor guests on their individual terms. “Your arrival experience is always just one way. It’s always a welcome, never a goodbye.”
Exploring the artistic treasures of Wynn Las Vegas reveals a commitment to bringing cultural richness to Ras Al Khaimah. Lenahan points out pieces intended for the new resort, including a historic mirror once housed in the Louvre. “We are continually rotating our collections, keeping the atmosphere dynamic and invigorating,” he notes. Iconic artworks, like Jeff Koons’ Tulips, will find new displays in the UAE, enriching the artistic narrative of the resort.
Evenings at Wynn Las Vegas resonate with glamour, particularly at Delilah, a modern supper club paying homage to mid-20th-century entertainment. This nostalgic vibe will carry over to Wynn Al Marjan Island, alongside a French-American steakhouse by celebrated chef Alain Ducasse, establishing a culinary landscape that mirrors the resort’s sophistication.
As Wynn Las Vegas thrives on the bustling spirit of the casino floor, characterized by a lively crowd at blackjack tables and slot machines, Wynn Al Marjan Island will offer a more tailored approach. “While the casino will remain a part of the experience, it will cater to those who seek that excitement on their own terms,” Lenahan states. The essence of Las Vegas will thus transition to Ras Al Khaimah, propelling the region into a new era of extravagant resort experiences.
