Heartfelt Plea: Telangana Girl’s Emotional Appeal for Mother’s Last Rites Receives Compassionate Intervention from KTR

In a heart-wrenching incident from Bale Taroda village in Tanur Mandal of Telangana’s Nirmal district, a young girl sought financial help on Sunday, August 18, for her mother’s last rites. The girl, left without resources after her mother’s suicide due to financial troubles, reached out to her neighbors for assistance. Her plight drew community support, and villagers came forward to help her.

The tragedy compounded the family’s existing hardships, as the girl’s father had previously passed away due to illness. Moved by her situation, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader KT Rama Rao pledged financial help. “I’ve spoken to our BRS leaders of Mudhole constituency as soon as I saw this video (of the girl begging). They will attend to the young girl immediately,” KTR posted on X.

Local BRS leaders, guided by Dr. Kiran Komrewar, provided ₹10,000 as immediate aid and assured the girl of further support. KT Rama Rao, an MLA from Siricilla constituency and the working president of BRS, promised to personally assist her in building a secure future.

In response to Rao’s post, Nirmal District Collector Abhilasha Abhinav confirmed governmental support for the girl’s education as per protocol. “The district administration has already reached out to the child today afternoon. Her education will be taken care [of] as per procedure. We are all with her in this difficult time. Presently, her Peddamma is staying with her,” Abhinav posted on X.

This incident highlights the collaborative efforts by local leaders and district officials to support and secure the future of a young girl facing extraordinary hardship.
