SHILLONG, Sep 25: The Meghalaya Rural Bank (MRB) has taken a significant step towards enhancing customer service by updating its branch in Mawkdok. The revamped premises were inaugurated on Wednesday, introducing a modern infrastructure designed to better serve the community. D.P. Wahlang, the Chief Secretary of the Government of Meghalaya, officiated the ceremony, which was attended by local heads, the Block Development Officer of Laitkroh C&RD Block, the Chief Engineer of PHE, and other dignitaries. Wahlang commended MRB for its commitment to improving customer experience through upgraded facilities and advanced technology. He also advocated for the deployment of Micro ATMs that facilitate transactions in local languages, ensuring accessibility and convenience for all customers.
