Shilpa Shirodkar’s Shocking Bus Accident: Urgent Complaint Filed Against Company
Bigg Boss 18 contestant Shilpa Shirodkar’s car was involved in a collision with a bus in Mumbai. The actress, who is the sister-in-law of South Indian superstar Mahesh Babu, took to social media to criticize the bus company for shifting blame and not accepting responsibility for the incident. She shared images of her damaged vehicle on Instagram and expressed gratitude to the Mumbai Police for their assistance in filing a complaint. Thankfully, Shilpa confirmed that her staff members were safe and unharmed.
On Wednesday, Shilpa posted photos of her car following the accident and criticized the bus company involved. In her post, she stated, “A Cityflo bus ran into my car today. The representatives from the Mumbai office, Mr. Yogesh Kadam and Mr. Vilas Mankote, are claiming it is not their company’s fault, but rather the driver’s. How ruthless are these individuals? How much can a driver earn?”
Despite filing an official complaint, Shilpa claimed the company remains unwilling to take responsibility. She expressed her appreciation to the Mumbai Police for their prompt support in filing the complaint, stating, “Thanks to @mumbaipolice @cpmumbaipolice, they helped me file a police complaint without much problem. But the company refuses to accept any responsibility for the incident. @cityflo.ind, I would appreciate your connection regarding this matter. Thankfully, my staff is fine and unhurt, but anything could have happened,” she added.
In addition to these developments, Shilpa, who made her acting debut in Ramesh Sippy’s Bhrashtachar in 1989, has appeared in acclaimed films like Khuda Gawah, Aankhen, and Mrityudand. Her recent participation in Bigg Boss 18 in 2024 has significantly boosted her popularity.
Looking ahead, Shilpa is set to appear in the Telugu film Jatadhara and is currently filming a web series titled Shankar – The Revolutionary Man, which is based on the life of Adi Shankaracharya. In this biopic, she plays the role of Aramba, the mother of Adi Shankaracharya.
