Unveiling Delhi’s Sacred Tapestry: Faith, Duty, and Community Spirit
North East Delhi BJP MP Manoj Tiwari participated in Lok Sabha proceedings following a rigorous barefoot Kanwar Yatra that spanned over 100 kilometers, during which he sustained lesions and injuries. This pilgrimage marked his return to the annual Shravan celebration after a 30-year hiatus. Tiwari dedicated three days and two nights walking to Deoghar in Jharkhand, where he prayed at the revered Baba Baidhyanath Dham temple. Upon returning to the Capital, he attended the Monsoon Session in Lok Sabha on Monday. After the House concluded its proceedings on Friday, Tiwari and his wife Surabhi met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, presenting him with the prasad he received at the temple. Tiwari shared on social media that upon receiving the offering, the Prime Minister exclaimed “Har Har Mahadev” and appeared very pleased.
In a related development, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray visited the party’s recently refurbished parliamentary office in the old Parliament House. This visit took place during the INDIA bloc meeting and marked Thackeray’s first time at the office since the new Parliament complex was inaugurated. He was joined by his wife Rashmi and son Aditya Thackeray.
