Unlock the Secrets of Success: Master Your Future with Bernard’s Guide
The Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) is set to receive 120 lakh rupees in government aid, primarily aimed at enhancing the committee’s ongoing projects. This announcement was made by Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma during a gathering in Bristibar, Tura, which included the district council’s members and the BJP’s state vice president, Bernard N. Marak, who emphasized the necessity of community development.
Marak noted that the GHADC is making strides, with 80 percent of its Executive Committee’s resources now mobilized for the benefit of various localities, reinforcing the importance of infrastructure development and social welfare in the region. He articulated concerns about the council’s past performance, stating, “The GHADC is steadily overcoming previous challenges, now focusing on sustainable growth.”
He referenced the council’s ambitious plans for the fiscal year, highlighting how the GHADC has fortified its financial standing despite historical lows in funding from 2015-2016.
Furthermore, GHADC officials are working to streamline services for residents, ensuring easier access to necessary certifications and community resources. Marak mentioned key initiatives involving tribal certificates and other essential documentation, which are expected to bolster citizen services across 13 departments.
The commitment to governance within GHADC is critical for the socio-economic development of the Garo Hills, as underscored by the Chief Minister’s assurance to prioritize outreach initiatives. Marak’s statements reflect a renewed focus on achieving tangible results in the region’s governance and resource allocation, fostering a more transparent and efficient district council.
