In a significant step towards enhancing clean and smart mobility in Northeast India, A Plus Charge has announced a strategic partnership with Ather Energy, a prominent electric two-wheeler manufacturer. This collaboration is set to expand the electric vehicle (EV) charging network throughout the region, fostering greater adoption of EVs.
As part of this initiative, Ather Energy will install EV chargers at key locations across Northeast India. Each site will feature advanced fast chargers, combining Ather’s innovative charging technology with A Plus’s robust infrastructure. The charging points will be operated by A Plus Charge, ensuring consistent operational uptime and an excellent user experience.
This partnership aims to bolster the existing EV charging infrastructure in the Northeast. The new charging stations will support all Light Electric Vehicles (LEVs) compatible with the Light Electric Combined Charging System (LECCS). Strategically placed in cities, major transit routes, and high-traffic areas, these charging points will accommodate the growing number of EV users.

Initially, installation efforts will focus on urban centers such as Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Shillong, and Siliguri, with plans for expansion into other major cities like Jorhat, Dimapur, and Agartala in the months ahead.
Installations are expected to commence shortly. This partnership represents a crucial milestone in establishing a stable, inclusive, and future-ready EV ecosystem in one of India’s most vibrant yet underserved regions.
