Empowering Excellence: Sanskrit Varsity Intensifies Campus Discipline for a Brighter Future
Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit in Kalady is tightening campus discipline with new regulations set to take effect on July 1. In an effort to enhance security and order, only individuals with valid identity cards will be permitted to enter the campus. Vehicles entering the university premises must display a sticker featuring the institution’s emblem, as entry will be denied to those without this identification.
This measure follows recommendations from a sub-committee of the university’s Syndicate, aiming to ensure a safer environment for students and staff. Current vehicles parked on campus and hostel grounds will have a 15-day window to adhere to this new sticker policy, ensuring compliance across the board.
In addition to vehicle regulations, new protocols regarding student presence on campus have been established. Starting July 1, students will no longer be allowed to remain in classrooms after 5 p.m. Furthermore, any outsiders wishing to visit must provide their name, contact number, and purpose of visit in a register located at the main gate. Notably, these visitors are required to exit the campus before 5 p.m. Failure to do so will lead to their details being reported to the Kalady police.
The university has also put strict entry rules in place for hostels. Only students who have secured admission will be allowed access, and entrance will be prohibited after 9:30 p.m. The university has indicated that absences past this deadline will be communicated to the respective parents of those students, aiming to instill greater accountability and maintain discipline among hostel residents.
These changes come at a time when educational institutions are increasingly focused on fostering safer and more regulated environments. By implementing these measures, Sree Sankaracharya University demonstrates its commitment to student safety and campus security.
As the July deadline approaches, students and staff are urged to familiarize themselves with these new regulations. The university administration believes that these changes will not only enhance campus security but also create a more focused educational atmosphere.
For more detailed information about the new policies, students are encouraged to reach out to university administration or check official communications.
