By early afternoon, the situation had escalated, prompting the Los Angeles police to arrive in tactical gear to disperse protesters around 2:25 p.m. ET.
Sources shared with NBC News that the Dodgers have historically cooperated with law enforcement, allowing the use of their parking lots for operational staging. Hernandez emphasized the role businesses can play in resisting federal actions: “Businesses and corporations have the power to say, ‘Not on my property,’ so we’re waiting to see that movement happen here.”

All people deserve to be treated with respect, dignity, and human rights.”
