The Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (VACB) has arrested two officials from the Chowwara village office in Kerala on allegations of soliciting bribes for land allotment. Thambi, a former village assistant, and Navas, a current village field assistant, are accused of demanding a bribe in exchange for processing a land application.
The case began when a resident of Kakkanad applied for 1.24 acres of land through the Chowwara village office.
