Conversely, Lokesh stated that he began filming to document the dispute as Pankhuri was arguing in Hindi instead of the local language, Kannada.
The clash occurred around 3 PM on Sunday outside Centro Mall in Bellandur, where Pankhuri and her husband were merging lanes on a two-wheeler and allegedly brushed against Lokesh’s autorickshaw. In response to a complaint lodged by Lokesh, an FIR was filed against Pankhuri for the unprovoked attack.
In the wake of the incident, both Pankhuri and her husband publicly apologized, sharing a video in which they express their remorse and touch Lokesh’s feet in a gesture of respect. Pankhuri explained her actions by stating that she panicked due to her pregnancy and felt uneasy when the auto approached their vehicle. “We love Bengaluru, we love the culture and we love the people,” she said, emphasizing her affinity for the city.
