The exercise simulated an emergency flood situation, activating disaster relief teams, including an Indian Army relief column from Subansiri, for immediate rescue operations. Participants swiftly executed evacuation protocols, administered life-saving first aid, and set up operational relief and medical camps for affected civilians. These actions were crucial in demonstrating rapid mobilization and coordinated recovery efforts.
One of the highlights of the event was a live demonstration showcasing modern rescue tools and flood-relief equipment, such as the pneumatic line thrower.
