
स्वामी विवेकानंद की प्रतिमा का उद्घाटन, अरुणाचल मुख्यमंत्री द्वारा।
Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, along with Home Minister Mama Natung and the state’s Council of Ministers, unveiled a statue of Swami Vivekananda in Kaho, the easternmost village of India in Anjaw district, close to the borders of China and Myanmar. This significant event included a special cabinet meeting held in the village, highlighting the government’s dedication to inclusive governance and national integration in border areas.
The ceremony attracted several notable dignitaries, such as Rupesh Mathur, Joint Secretary of the Vivekananda Kendra Arunachal Pradesh (VKAP) Trust, and Hanumantrao, Vice President of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, as well as local residents and members of the VKV Alumni Association.
Vivekananda Kendra has played a pivotal role in advancing educational development in Arunachal Pradesh, continuing to adhere to Swami Vivekananda’s vision of nation-building through spiritual awakening, character education, and community service. The statue’s installation at Kaho is intended to inspire a sense of nationalism and service among the youth, reflecting the values propagated by the Kendra throughout its various institutions.
Leaders present at the event emphasized the importance of Swami Vivekananda’s ideals in nurturing a robust, self-reliant, and spiritually grounded society, especially in remote and sensitive border regions. This unveiling not only symbolizes national pride but also reinforces the spiritual legacy that Swami Vivekananda represents, thereby fostering a deeper connection among the community and reinforcing the government’s efforts in promoting unity and development in border areas.
