Telangana Chief Minister Announces Development of Fourth City in Mucherla
Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy has announced plans to develop Mucherla into a fourth major city, following Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and Cyberabad. The comprehensive development plan includes the establishment of all necessary facilities, positioning Mucherla as a future city of the state.
The state government has already acquired land to develop a pharma city and the Young India Skills University. This information was revealed by Chief Minister Reddy during a discussion on the Appropriation Bill in the Assembly.
A health city, encompassing a thousand acres, is also proposed to transform Mucherla into a leading healthcare hub. The development plan includes the construction of a world-class stadium on the pharma city land, enhancing the region’s sports infrastructure and enabling it to host international matches.
Chief Minister Reddy emphasized his government’s commitment to improving infrastructure to produce world-class athletes from Telangana. He also announced that Group-I level jobs would be offered to boxer Nikhat Zareen and bowler Mohammed Siraj, recognizing their contributions to the city. The official letters of appointment will be issued shortly.
Additionally, an Artificial Intelligence hub, spread over 200 acres, will be established within the same vicinity, further boosting the region’s technological capabilities.
This initiative reflects the government’s dedication to enhancing various sectors, including healthcare, sports, and technology, driving Mucherla’s transformation into a future-ready city.
