Fighting Fraud, Tripura Commodifies Zero Tolerance for Corruption, says CM Saha
The Government of Tripura Maintains Zero Tolerance for Corruption, Says Chief Minister
In its ongoing efforts to root out corruption, the Tripura government is committed to upholding zero tolerance for corrupt practices, asserted Chief Minister Manik Saha. He made this statement after listening to the 120th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat programme, which discussed various national and international events.
Saha praised the Prime Minister’s initiative, stating that the Mann Ki Baat programme enlightens people to various issues and highlights the unity in diversity that exists in the country. He emphasized that the programme is not only focused on India but also covers global events. Saha drew attention to the Prime Minister’s mention of greetings received for Poila Boishakh in various forms, which is a testament to the nation’s unifying spirit.
Additionally, the Chief Minister highlighted the Prime Minister’s discussion on the Para Games, commending the efforts of the state and central governments in supporting Divyangjans. Saha also commended the Game Changer campaign, under which students are achieving remarkable feats in various sports. It’s worth noting that one student from South Tripura district had the opportunity to meet the Prime Minister on this issue, and he didn’t pay any money to do so. The Prime Minister, as expected, disapproves of corruption, and so does the Tripura government, which has a zero-tolerance policy towards such practices.
Saha also touched upon his conversation with the MOHAN Foundation, stating that every part of the human body can be transplanted. He urged everyone to step forward in donating organs and stressed that public representatives must take steps to create awareness about organ donation. On this occasion, SC Welfare Minister Sudhangshu Das was also present, further emphasizing the government’s commitment to eradicating corruption and promoting public awareness.
With a strong emphasis on social welfare, the Tripura government is committed to ensuring that every individual has access to necessary facilities and resources. By actively promoting awareness about various issues, including organ donation and the importance of reducing corruption, the government is working tirelessly to create a better future for the people of Tripura.
