At a condolence meeting for the late Samar Adhya at the Muktadhara Auditorium, CPIM Politburo member and former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar openly voiced his skepticism about the legitimacy of the BJP’s sudden increase in votes. “Is it magic? Even BJP people don’t believe it,” Sarkar remarked, reflecting widespread disbelief.
