A brief altercation occurred on Wednesday when a BEST bus, route 231, collided with a luxury car near Juhu Tara Road, the residence of Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan. The incident led to a heated exchange, with a bouncer from the bungalow reportedly slapping the bus driver.
Eyewitnesses claim that the bus, number 8021, was traveling from the Juhu bus depot when it clipped the luxury car, with registration number MH02-GG-5050. The bus driver, who had stopped to assess the situation, was approached by the bouncer, who allegedly slapped him. The driver then contacted the police by dialling 100, and officers arrived to mediate the situation.
The bungalow’s supervisor apologized on behalf of the bouncer, and the driver subsequently chose not to file a police complaint. The car, which was initially rumored to belong to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, was later revealed to be her property, with sources assuring that she was not present at the scene at the time of the incident.
According to reports, a small crowd gathered briefly, but the car sustained no significant damage, and it was able to drive away after a brief inspection. As of now, neither the Bachchan family nor their representatives have issued an official statement regarding the incident, and no police complaint has been filed.
The conduct of the bouncer, who failed to maintain peace and order, has raised concerns, but the matter was ultimately resolved amicably on the spot.
