Redmi Introduces Pad Pro 5G and Pad SE 4G in India
Redmi has expanded its tablet lineup in India with the launch of the Redmi Pad Pro 5G and Redmi Pad SE 4G on Monday. Notably, the Pro variant is Redmi’s first tablet to offer both Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity. The Redmi Pad Pro 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset, while the Redmi Pad SE 4G runs on the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC. Both devices will operate on Xiaomi’s Android 14-based HyperOS.
The Redmi Pad Pro 5G is available in two versions: a Wi-Fi-only model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, costing Rs. 21,999, and a Wi-Fi + cellular variant starting at Rs. 24,999 for 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. Upgrading to the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model costs Rs. 26,999. The Wi-Fi-only model is available in Graphite Grey and Mist Blue, while the Wi-Fi + cellular version comes in Graphite Grey and Quick Silver.
Conversely, the Redmi Pad SE 4G is priced competitively at Rs. 10,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model, and Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. It is offered in three colors: Forest Green, Ocean Blue, and Urban Grey. Both tablets will be available for purchase starting August 2 at 12 pm on the brand’s website, retail stores, and major e-commerce platforms.
The Redmi Pad Pro 5G features a 12.1-inch LCD display with 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 600 nits peak brightness. It includes an 8-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera, a 10,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging, and broad connectivity options including dual SIM, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and USB Type-C.
Meanwhile, the Redmi Pad SE 4G sports an 8.7-inch LCD display with 1340 x 800 pixels resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and 600 nits peak brightness. It has an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera, a 6650mAh battery with 10W charging, and connectivity features like dual SIM, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, and USB Type-C.
