A significant awareness session focusing on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act, cyber safety, and self-defense was conducted at the PM SHRI School, JNV Tawang, aiming to equip students with essential knowledge on personal safety and legal rights. This impactful program was steered by the Tawang Police, led by N. Angu, Officer-in-Charge, alongside her dedicated team. The session was inaugurated by M. L. Cyber Safety Insights: In response to increasing online threats, Sub-Inspector A. Mimi provided crucial guidance on digital safety, including cyberbullying and security measures. He advised on the responsible use of the internet and strategies to protect personal information, warning of the potential dangers of social media and cyber fraud.
Self-Defense Training: The event concluded with a practical self-defense demonstration led by ASI Sangey Tsering, a Taekwondo black belt. Students eagerly engaged in learning basic self-defense techniques, equipping themselves to effectively handle challenging situations.
