Expert Panel to Dive Deep into Shocking Balloon Explosion at ‘Pokhara Visit Year 2025’ Kickoff
An investigation has been launched into a balloon explosion that occurred during the inauguration of the ‘Pokhara Visit Year 2025’ in Pokhara, Nepal. The blast resulted in burn injuries to Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel and Pokhara Metropolitan City Mayor Dhanraj Acharya during the event held on Saturday.
In response to the incident, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has established an eight-member committee to conduct a thorough investigation. Additionally, Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli personally visited the injured officials in the hospital, extending his wishes for their swift recovery.
