PM Modi Inspires: Unveiling India’s Bold Economic Reforms at Paris CEOs Forum to Attract French Investment
Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron reaffirmed their mutual commitment to enhancing business ties and innovation during the 14th India-France CEOs Forum in Paris. The event brought together leading industry figures from both nations, deliberating on key sectors such as defense, aerospace, artificial intelligence, infrastructure, and sustainable development.
In his address, Prime Minister Modi highlighted India’s growing appeal as a global investment hub, citing stable policies and recent economic reforms as pivotal elements. He pointed out significant changes such as the opening of the insurance sector to 100% foreign direct investment (FDI), allowing private participation in civil nuclear energy, and the simplification of tax structures to boost the ease of doing business. Additionally, he highlighted new opportunities in clean energy, infrastructure, and defense manufacturing, emphasizing the potential impact of the India-Middle East-Europe Economic Corridor.
