The Indian Army and the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IIT-G) have formed a significant partnership, formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), to research and develop epoxy bamboo-based composites as an alternative to traditional materials for constructing bunkers in high-altitude areas.
