Gautam Adani Celebrates Love: A Heartwarming and Traditional Family Wedding for Jeet
Adani Dismisses Rumors of Grand Wedding for Son Jeet
Prayagraj, Jan 21: Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, has quashed widespread social media rumors about his son Jeet Adani’s upcoming wedding to Diva Shah, daughter of Surat diamond merchant Jaimin Shah. The speculations suggested that the wedding would be an extravagant event with a star-studded guest list including personalities like Elon Musk, Bill Gates, and Taylor Swift, among others. There were even claims that the India-England ODI at Motera had been rescheduled to accommodate the event, purportedly hosting 1,000 supercars and chefs from 58 countries at a cost of over Rs 10,000 crore.
Addressing the media in Prayagraj, Adani firmly stated, "Definitely not!" dismissing the idea of the wedding being a "Maha Kumbh of celebrities." He emphasized his family’s humble values and clarified that the ceremony, scheduled for February 7 in Ahmedabad, would be a simple, traditional affair.
The clarification was made during Adani’s visit to the Maha Kumbh Mela with his family, where they participated in religious activities. The industrialist took part in the Mahaprasad Seva at ISKCON, supporting the distribution of over one lakh free meals daily. Additionally, he is distributing one crore Aarti Sangrah printed by the Gita Press of Gorakhpur.
Gautam Adani praised the Modi and Yogi governments for their efforts in organizing the event, highlighting its effective management in policing and sanitation. He suggested the administration of the Mela could serve as a study model for management institutes and corporate houses.
The announcement comes as the Adani family engaged in spiritual activities at Prayagraj’s Triveni Sangam, maintaining their commitment to personal values and simplicity amidst swirling public speculation.
