Bryan Adams to Kick Off "So Happy It Hurts" India Tour in Shillong
SHILLONG – Renowned Canadian singer-songwriter Bryan Adams is set to electrify India with his "So Happy It Hurts" world tour, starting December 10 in Shillong, Meghalaya’s capital.
The concert will feature Adams’ iconic hits, including "Summer of ’69," "Everything I Do (I Do It For You)," and "Run to You," along with tracks from his Grammy-nominated 2022 album, "So Happy It Hurts." While the specific venue in Shillong remains undisclosed, excitement is already building among fans and music aficionados.
Following his Shillong performance, Adams will continue his weeklong tour with shows in Gurugram, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and will wrap up in Hyderabad on December 16. This series of concerts is being organized by Opus Productions and Envision, in collaboration with Centre Stage and Eva Live, with tickets available on Zomato Live starting August 7.
The tour is poised to be a significant boost for Shillong’s tourism and local economy, drawing enthusiasts from across the nation. This marks Adams’ sixth visit to India, following tours in 1993-1994, 2001, 2006, 2011, and 2018.
Adams, a fixture in the music industry for over four decades, boasts 17 studio albums with a global fanbase. His latest works include the peace song "What If There Were No Sides At All" and two tracks from the comedy film "Office Race." The India leg of his tour forms an extension of his ongoing global journey, which also covers the USA, UK, Europe, and Canada.
