Tragic Loss at Ram Charan Film Event: Heartfelt Support with Rs10-Lakh Aid from Dil Raju
Two fans of actor Ram Charan tragically died following a pre-release event for his upcoming film, “Game Changer,” in Rajahmundry. The fans, identified as Arava Manikanta, 23, and Thokada Charan, 22, from Gaigolupadu in Kakinda, were involved in a fatal accident as they returned home on a motorcycle after the event. A van traveling in the opposite direction collided with them, leading to their deaths despite being rushed to Peddapuram Hospital.
The event was attended by Ram Charan and Pawan Kalyan, the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. In light of the tragedy, “Game Changer” producer Dil Raju has pledged financial aid of Rs 10 lakh to the victims’ families. Sri Venkateswara Creations, Raju’s production house, expressed condolences on social media, assuring support to the bereaved families.
In addition to Dil Raju’s aid, Pawan Kalyan has also promised Rs 5 lakh each to the families. The incident has raised concerns about safety measures at major events, echoing a similar incident a month ago when a woman died during a stampede at a benefit screening for “Pushpa 2,” also involving actor Allu Arjun.
The tragic accident has cast a shadow over the upcoming release of “Game Changer,” highlighting the vulnerabilities surrounding large-scale fan gatherings. Efforts are being made to ensure better safety protocols in future events. A case regarding the accident has been registered with the Rangampeta police.
